A revitalised Bishops Rugby Supporters Club (BRSC) recently hosted what we hope to be an annual rugby dinner to raise funds for both Bishops rugby, and VUSA.

Held at the Mitre and Woodlands, it was a fabulous affair that included a highly entertaining Q&A with Stormers coach John Dobson and the auctioning off of some amazing items. As such, the BRSC will be financing some key rugby initiatives at Bishops, something we are incredibly appreciative of, and also handing over a cheque to VUSA.

A few pics from the evening:

The BRSC extends it’s gratitude to those who supported the inaugural Annual Rugby Dinner on the 30th May.

The event received much praise and positive feedback. Importantly, and with your kind support, our dinner has been able to raise over R270 000 for the BRSC which will go towards supporting Bishops Rugby initiatives. One of which is the digital upgrade of the Piley Rees scoreboard. Much work has gone into making this happen and we aim to officially launch this in the 3rd term.

Following the successful event, the BRSC committee has agreed to share our fundraising efforts by donating R25 000.00 to VUSA Academy.
