“The idea is not to live forever, it is to create something that will.” Andy Warhole
We invite you to leave your legacy. For many, school was more than a space purposed for teaching and learning. It was a home away from home; a space where lifelong friendships formed and memories were made.
Bishops is an institution which provides a leading education and offers its boys a great head start in a competitive world. Once you leave Memorial Gates, you all go on to wear many hats but the one constant is that you will always remain a Bishops Boy. In this ever-changing world, it is our duty to remain ahead of the pack and offer future generations the same benefits and opportunities that previous generations provided for you.
With tax benefits and the opportunity to etch your name in Bishops history, we invite you to leave your legacy at the place where many of you started out. When remembering Bishops in your Will, you have the option of drafting a new Will or adding a Codicil to your existing Will. Each page of the Will or Codicil must be signed by the Testator/Testatrix, and their signature must be witnessed by any competent person over the age of 14, with the exception of the following:
- A beneficiary/heir or his/her spouse
- A guardian, executor, trustee or their spouses
The original Will or Codicil should be given to your executor for safe-keeping. The Bishops Trust would appreciate being advised in respect of a bequest made to it as it wishes to acknowledge the bequest during the lifetime of the donor. All correspondence will be treated in the strictest confidence.
