MS Office Apps

Microsoft Office is the most universal and widely used office package for document editing and office facilities. It consists of a number of programs for documents, presentations, spreadsheets and mail.

These Microsoft Apps are part of your son’s Office 365 license and may be downloaded free of charge.

Once downloaded, please open all these Apps and sign in with your son’s Bishops email address and Bishops password. When prompted, please select Work or school account.

OneDrive

Microsoft OneDrive helps you to share documents and presentations made on your iPad with your teacher. In other words, it helps you to hand in work.

Outlook

Outlook is your son’s Bishops email account.

Word

Word allows users to read documents on their iPad. To create and edit documents, users require an Office 365 subscription. The MS Office 365 subscription will be purchased for your son by Bishops.

PowerPoint

PowerPoint allows users to view PowerPoint presentations on their iPads. To create and edit presentations, users require an Office 365 subscription. The MS Office 365 subscription will be purchased for your son by Bishops.

Teams

Microsoft Teams is our online classroom offering a classroom chat, video lessons and content collaboration.

Excel

Excel allows users to view Excel spreadsheets on their iPads. To create and edit spreadsheets user require an Office 365 subscription. The MS Office subscription will be purchased for your son by Bishops.

Safari

Safari is the web browser that comes pre installed on all Apple devices. It is faster and more energy efficient than other browsers, so sites are more responsive and your battery lasts longer between charges.

Show Me

	ShowMe turns your iPad into an interactive whiteboard! You can draw, add pictures, record voice-overs and share your creations online. It’s an amazingly simple app that anyone can use, no matter how young or old!

Thinglink

Welcome to the future of images.

Thinglink assists you to share images and make them come alive by adding video and notes and even music.

Kidsperation Maps Lite

	Kidsperation Lite Allows students to visually display and organise their thoughts. Please do not download the paid version. We use the free version in class.

Stop Motion Studio easy animation and movie maker. Please do not download the paid version. We use the free version of this app.

Klikd

Klikd is a digital safety app designed for students in grades 4 to 9. It helps students navigate social media responsibly.

Find My iPad

If you misplace your iPad this app will allow you to use any other iOS device to find it.

By making use of the built in GPS or networking features of your iPad, the app allows you to:

locate your missing iPad on a map
lock it remotely
play an alert tone
display a message on your iPad
erase all the data on your iPad

Simply install the free app, open it, and sign in with the Apple ID you use for iCloud. Please note: Find My iPad must be enabled in the iCloud settings on your iPad before you can locate it using this app.
